Job Description
(1) Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
Major responsibilities:
1) DB2 DBA
2) Need to work on different shifts and also ready to work on on-call support on regular basis.
(2) Competencies – Technical / Functional and Managerial
Skills Preferred
1) Knowledge of trouble shooting DB2 issues
2) Fix pack installations and upgrades
(3) Level of interaction - External & Internal
Customer and Peer interaction
(4) Education / Experience / Skill sets
Education:
BE/MS degree
Skill Sets:
1) Proficient in SQL
2) Database experience: DB2
3) Platforms: Windows, AIX, Linux and Unix
4) Basic Knowledge on scripting
Soft skills:
Can do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication, listening, problem solving, multi-tasking, mentoring, interpersonal skills, organized, self-starter, quick learner, team-oriented, detail oriented, good work ethics.
Experience
2 to 4 years of software customer support experience.
1-2 years of experience in direct communication with client
Willingness/ Open to travel within India and abroad if required.
