Job Description
Key Activities:
• Responsible for creating Technical courseware content either independently or in conjunction with one or more SME’s.
• Organizing, proofing, suggesting improvements, editing, and finalizing written work produced by the Courseware Development Group.
• Creating videos / recording simulations using Captivate or Camtasia. Refining the videos and simulations created by SME’s
• Access overall quality of course material created from point of view of English / presentation / Paedagogy
Additionally:
• Study all the review comments from customers and inculcate corrective action in the system. Communicate to team members.
• Take up charge of training , educating, creating awareness about Instructional Design / technical writing in the Courseware Development Group.
• Suggest, build proposals and implement methodologies to improve the skill set of the team in Instructional Design
Desired Profile
1) The courseware being created is very technical in nature. Candidates who have Engineering background, Science background will be preferred.
(2) Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users.
(3) Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with WBT authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate and will be a plus.
(4) Excellent writing and editing skills.
(5) Should possess a passion for writing, express a message clearly, briefly and persuasively
Detail-orientation, good copyediting skills.
(6) Presenting information in an interesting and interactive manner that keeps the audience engaged and active. Sound knowledge of Instructional Design principles and methods.
(7) Have a good eye for detail, design, and typography.
(8) Strong on Logic & Analytical ability/sound visualization skills
Should have worked as Instructional Designer, content writer, instructional writer, and content developer.
Candidates working with e-learning company are desirable. This position is based in Pune.
