Job Description
Job Title/Position: Dy Manager/ Manager
Department: Quality Assurance
Location: Mandideep at Bhopal
Reporting To: General Manager (QA)
External Relations: Customers, Consultants, Suppliers, Govt./Legal bodies, Andritz Hydro companies.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Conduct pre commissioning & commissioning tests at site
Conduct test on Generator assemblies at Factory
Conduct test on bars, coils & poles
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct diagnostic testing for dielectric measurement on stator coil and bar
2. Pres commissioning & commissioning tests at site
3. Carry out factor acceptance test (FAT) on turbo and hydro Generator in presence of customer like Routine test/type test/special test(Vibration/noise)
4. Test on exciter stator, exciter rotor, PMG, in process test on stator, rotor assemblies
5. Balancing of rotor at plant
6. Conduct high voltage test on bar/coil and finished wound stator
7. Generate reports/documents for all tests conducted
8. Develop / prepare Quality plan (QAP)
9. Understand IS and IEC standards. Conduct internal audits
10. Familiarity with testing instruments like Megger / Oscilloscope, power analyser
Competencies
B.E. / M.Tech (Electrical). Must
> 8-10 years of professional experience, preferably in rotating machines like generator / motor / alternator
Remuneration: Best in the industry
Note: Candidates only from Mumbai & Pune are preferable whose home town is at Bhopal as there is no provision of to & fro for the interview for candidates coming apart from Mumbai and Pune as interviews would be conducted at Navi Mumbai.
