Job Description
· Responsible and oversee the day-to-day warehouse activities.
· Ensure effective planning, coordination and execution of warehouse operations.
· Ensure efficient use of warehouse equipments/ supplies.
· Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene and health standards/procedures.
· Manage a group of team members
· Carefully handling of inwards, outwards and proper placing of the goods
· Handling labours /unskilled staff for loading & unloading of goods.
· Proper placing of goods to avoid any kind of damage.
· Maintaining the stock registers and reconciliation of the same time to time
· Physical verification of the goods as and when required
· Updating little damage or incomplete items
· Logistics arrangements
· Computer Proficiency
· Working closely with clients, suppliers and transport companies
· Co-ordination in planning of delivery and dispatch of goods
· Monitoring and setting aside storage space
· Tracking stock levels using computer programs
· Make sure all registers (i.e.) incoming stock, outgoing stock and damaged stock details are kept updated on daily bases.
· Responsible for report generation of closing stock and Opening stock at month ends and month opening.
· To update the Reporting Manager on daily activities, highlight operation related issues, propose/suggest actions to be taken and solutions to be made.
· All security measures to be checked once in fortnight
· Monitoring and make sure the packers and loaders are dress properly
· Execution of new process/project initiated by HOD
· Any other tasks, as and when assign by the Management.
Candidate Profile Position: Supply Chain Executive
Location : Ahmadabad /Pune
Education: Graduate /Post graduate /MBA –Marketing or SCM
Year of Experiences: 1 to 5 years
