Designation: SPE/PS (UK Shift )
Location: Pune / Hyderabad
Essential Qualifications:
Excellent numeric and analytical skills
Good Verbal and writing skills
Banking knowledge – Treasury and/or Depository services
Proficient in MS Office with specific reference to Excel
Relevant Experience (In Years): 2-4 yrs
Essential Skills / Personality Traits:
· Knowledge about OTC Derivatives (Rates, Credit or Equity)
· Working knowledge of ISDA norms, terminology and definitions
· Drafting or Chasing experience for OTC Rates, Equity or Credit products
· Exposure to DTCC and/or Markitwire
· Proficient in MS office ,good in excel
· Good Communication
· Basic knowledge of Accounting
· Flexibility to work in any shift, particularly night shifts
Domain Expertise: Derivative products
Operational Responsibilities:
· Clear the workbench by drafting the non-STP items allocated to the individual.
· To ensure that the drafting of the confirmations is in accordance to the booking in the Front Office systems and adhering to ISDA and market conventions.
· The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that the trades are wrapped for all the trades pertaining to the clients assigned to them.
· The role holder will be expected to adhere to meeting the FED targets and any other internal targets related to SLA’s.
· Any issues leading to inability to draft or wrap trades within specified timelines will need to be recorded and escalated on a timely and appropriate basis to the immediate supervisor.
· The role holder is expected to be cross trained and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team by sharing best practices.
· The role holder is expected to contribute to quality initiatives and any other measures that will lead to better productivity and capacity utilization.
· Under supervision they complete tasks as required within their own objectives and in line with team goals.
· The individual identifies and reports process improvements in their own work scope.
· The individual keep their own skills updated with new developments in their own field.
· They establish good working relationships with colleagues to ensure support in achieving tasks
· The individual is expected to work in shifts and at short notice (at times) to ensure continuity of delivery.
· Ensure that the allocations of the role holder do not breach any internal or regulatory targets
· To ensure that all efforts are in line with the operational goal of client service and service excellence
